The aim of smart boots is to provide a regular event where women
who run their own businesses can meet for networking, socialising,
learning and support.
Business women in North Devon are often running their business from
remote locations and can feel cut-off from the rest of the business world.
Smart boots hopes to provide business women with a welcoming, creative
and thriving environment which can be used as an outlet for discussing ideas,
self-development as well as providing a good opportunity to gain some
business whilst making new friends.
Membership
Smart Boots is a membership only organisation. For your membership you
can attend our regular monthly events which includes a two-course supper
and refreshments, and receive discounts on course fees for learning and
development courses that will be available.
The events
Meeting on a monthly basis, the event will begin with soft drinks on arrival
and the chance to chat, meet new members and do some informal networking.
For supper, the members will be placed at a table in small groupings per table
and whilst enjoying the supper, each member will introduce themselves and their business to their table of members. Table seating will be planned in advance to ensure that members get to meet with different people each month.
Guest speakers will attend most meetings with the aim of sharing a wealth of
knowledge and experience with group members.
Learning
In addition to the supper meetings,
Smart Boots will be running a range
of group and individual courses for
personal and business development.
